Because honestly muscle slightly contributes to how you use it, you can be the strongest guy in the world and get your ass kicked by a skinny nerdy kid because they know fighting techniques..
That's why I've trained in brazilian jiu-jitsu for the past 11 years (since I was 5) now a purple belt

My maxes on each thing are like:
Bench Press: 160 at the moment I think? I don't remember because I haven't maxed in a while..
Parallel Squat: Like 315
Trap Deadlift: 300
Power Clean: 145
(Then shit like towel bench & box squat but I don't remember my maxes on those)
But each day we have to do like say one day we will do reps for Bench Press & Power clean and then stuff like curls, lat pulldowns, tricep dips, flies, etc. And it will change each day and like different numbers of reps each week.
