Yea i don't see why they shouldn't be allowed to, there helping a child who has been in a foster home. If they are responsible respectful parents then they should be able to.

That's precisely what I think. Homosexuality is a bi-product of evolution. I see no reason why we should meet it with hostility.

Homosexual acts involves to consenting parties, whereas pedophilia takes place between an adult and an un-consenting, unknowledgeable child. I'm sure you're able to see the difference between the two.

What is your definition of "normal"?

Why is it a problem that a child might come up gay? I don't understand your reasoning for this if you "have no hate toward homosexuals".

Being gay makes your life so much harder in the real world. Think about it. You walk through the mall (an example) holding another mans hand. Imagine how many people will just look at you and be like wtf?

So by this, are you saying children shouldn't be raised, due to the fact that it's already (possibly) putting them in situations where they will be alienated?

I guess that makes sense. I still don't agree with it, for I think that everyone besides 'criminals' and people absolutely not fit to raise a child, should be allowed.

That's not true. Pedophilic relationships can be consensual and homosexual relationships can be unconsensual too.

You are who you are & It's your life to do whatever you want. If they decide they want to adopt a child then they should go for it.

I don't see why children would be affected tho, sure their friends parents will be straight but how is it any different to having a parent of each gender. As long as the parents are their and love their child that should be enough!!!!!!! xo

I can't think of any logical reason as to why they shouldn't be able to adopt children. The fact that some people would prefer a child go through the system as opposed to being adopted by homosexual parents is completely unjust.

The only logical reason would be that the child would potentially have a predisposition of acceptance towards homosexuality, and thus may be more likely to be gay.

That's pretty much the most common argument if I remember correctly.

It's stupid to argue about though really, I personally would never want to go through the system like that, and that is without any reasonable doubt the lesser of the two evils... Shit on some days I wish I were attracted to more than like .00000001% of men, so I could be gay.

I would say no, not because I hate homosexuals, lesbians, or anyone but for the simple fact that the kid will act differently then most kids. Well at least, there is a big chance for it to happen. Kids these days don't like people that are "different", and they will most likely be bullied and harassed in schools. May lead to depression, suicide, other things. But if the kid isn't effected, or can deal with the harassment, I think it is fine.
