So why would people buy groups?

As of late, people seem to be buying groups to make themselves look good. Some groups actually have active subforums, such as Infinite, Alpha, and Invincible, which is how groups should be. These groups usually tend to be more lenient when posting as well as a great way to meet other users and even learn something every now and then.

thanks, so far every group here I've been in is purely for the userbar. The subforums are dead a f.

@sin says it's sad but he tried his balls off to get into 4+ groups purely for e userbar.

Userbars are these ranks right? If so, I'm pretty sure you can only use 1 of those at a time. What would be the point in trying to get in 4+ groups if you can only show 1 rank, do you get a special one or just for your profile?

You can choose which you want to wear certain groups make you wear it 3-5 days a week. So since he's in 4 he won't be able to wear all in one week he'll get removed eventually.

When I seen your post saying groups are worth 5 bucks, that automatically makes this thread a spam/troll related thread. If it would be anywhere else it would misrepresent the real value of groups. Most group owners wont even let you in their group for a pathetic 5 bucks.

I said what I would pay for one or how much I think they were worth, I already said they are sold for $150+. Please move my thread back to where it originally was, as I think this was a mistake.

if groups were made properly like on HF they would be a way to get money as an owner as well as half your own little part of the forum. But unfortunately groups on FK are like water taps at my house plenty, common, and seemingly worthless.

Not to trash on Philly but 20 groups for 400 active members makes it impossible to profit from a group.
