Actually, believe it or not there is. Some teachers don't know how to teach. What I mean by this they will sit in front of the class room and do problems and show you what they can do. But won't explain to you how to do them. My pre-calc teacher was like that. My calc 2 teacher didn't understand the material and would do problems wrong and take the whole class time trying to figure out where she messed up. Both circumstances require the student to put extra effort into learning the material from just the book or other sources (which is what I did.)
Anyway, I think others here agree that it would be convenient and nice to have a section of the forum for this.
