I think this would be a good idea for staff to get paid, then the staff couldn't make harsh dissensions. They would do exactly what the rules say.
I'm not flaming or anything but i think everyone knows SOMETIMES
The staff make harsh dissensions but most of the time they are right.
Just a suggestion.
 
Well, let's think about this really quick: they're volunteers.... That's really all there is to it. They don't need to be paid and this thread makes close to no sense.

Lol, like staff in real life, they get paid. Like @Philly could pay people to do individual jobs, like moderating different forums.
 
Why would you pay them when they're more than willing to do it for free? Philly also doesn't have the money for this.
 
It doesn't matter i was just trying to make the forum better.

I don't think they need to be paid. They should WANT to be staff and help the staff. If you are here to help only for money you shouldn't be here at all.
 
@Internet How do you know its not hard? Philly might force them to be foot stalls...

Lel Staff have a shit ton to do, I`ve been staff on a forum this size and its a shit ton of work. But, tons of people are willing to do it so no need for salary.
 
The current Staff team is already willing to do their job for free. I don't think @Philly would be too fond of suddenly beginning to unnecessarily take money out of his own pocket, either.
 
Taking away funds from the site to pay us would only prevent more plugins and additions being added to the site and we definitely do not want that, even if we are benefiting from it personally because we only wish to see the site succeed. If we were a large site with enormous profits like another site that we all know then this would be a good idea, but we do not want to hinder the growth and development of the site for individual gains.
