Suggestion: Custom Username Style.

Bump, I'd really like to see this added.
 
i completely agree with this, hopefully this gets implented.
 
I am all for this. Honestly, I've been beginning to get tired of our current effect.
 
I'd like to see this as well. I've discussed it with Philly and he said that only a custom secondary color would be available. This way people aren't able to like impersonate staff and such.

This wouldn't be too bad either. Would it be possible to just not allow those specific color combinations (Purple/Purple, Green/Green)?

When you say secondary color you are talking about the drop shadow, correct?

Yes, however, I am 99.9% sure that this will not be implemented.

A fix for that would be a list of staff members in the footer, or something along those lines.

I agree, plus staff has bold usernames anyway, and italics could be added as well.
The colors don't help newer members anyway, which is who needs it.

How exactly would it affect any group whatsoever?
 
This isn't anything hard or expensive to do, but it is being used on many forums. I like to keep the features on FK unique.

The main reason, for most members, to be in a group is to have a colored name thats special to them. If you can make a special username color or shadow at anytime, while being a certain class (Onyx, Power, Power+), then people wont really want group as much. IMO

Yeah, I know where you're coming from, but this would be such a great addition to the site. I haven't noticed it on too many other forums. It would be a really nice feature for Power+ to really set it apart from others.

That's dumb as fuck if you only join groups to change the color of your name.

Did I say that I join group to do that? No. I said many users do or want to, then they get kicked for being inactive.
