You can get inked at any age if you want to

I got my first piece when I was a sophomore in HS

Don't you have to get a paper signed by a parent or legal guardian?

My parents wouldn't let me aha

I'm very fond of body art. I know I'll be getting tattoos in the future (perchance stretched ears, however, most likely not). I'm a big fan of minimalism, so I'll be getting lots of tattoos in that nature. Though, I expect it to be a lot less costly in contrast to yours. 10k is insane.

Take some pics, I'm planning on getting some Anti Hero deck graphics done on me, just the designs and a close friend's name on my hand by my pinky.

I'm only planning on getting 1 tattoo which will be on the right side of my chest saying "VII" any others I'll hate to have.

I've never had a piercing either and I don't plan on getting one.

I just feel he may regret it when he's older, but you know gotta live in the moment :p

Have you seen old people with entirely inked bodies? They honestly look awesome. I've never understood this counter-argument.

@Mental, show some pictures when you find the time. I'm quite intrigued.

Tattoos are expensive, they are painful and they are permanent. I find them completely unattractive. If you get a tattoo, you will be judged by others because of that tattoo. You will be labelled a criminal, a thug, uneducated and immature and you most certainly have some underlying psychological issues that you are trying to compensate for. Tattoos are just a cry for attention, a rebellion against society, or a way to hide who you truly are. You'll say you get tattoos in order to be different, or that you are "expressing" yourself. But how? When almost everyone has a tattoo nowadays. Basically, you are just fitting in with all of the other tattooed people who were "rebellious" as teenagers. Tattoos only fool shallow people who can’t see beyond the surface of things.

With that being said. You chose to do it. It's your body, and your life. If that's how you want to be viewed for the rest of your life that's fine with me.

So @California inspired me to make this post.

Below I will list my Tattoos.
Left Arm- Full sleeve, Basically a Nebula with Milkyways and small space ships ect..

Right arm- Full Sleeve, Sailor Jarey type tattoos, Skulls, Cobwebbed Elbow.

Right leg- Dedicated to my family, Family crest, Irish cross, and stone background with Celtic bordering and engravings.

My Gauges - 1 Inch

I'm only 20 and was wanting to know if it was trashy or stupid. All of my Tattoos are professionaly done I've spent over 10Gs on them. But a lot of people stare at me like I'm a freak but I'm a pretty cool guy, Don't start stuff with anyone.

What are your opinions?
Can you upload pics?
Personally I'm not interested in Tattoos but they look good on certain ppl. I think a part of me doesn't want them because everyone gets pointless ones. but like I said it looks good on certain ppl

Only thing that irks me is the fact that anyone calls them gauges. Do you have stretched ears or a stretched septum or what? What do you preferably wear? Tunnels, plugs, tapers, etc.? On the other side of the topic, your tattoos sound rad. I'm looking to eventually get sleeves, a giant back piece for my dad, and a bunch of other things.

I plan on getting my first tattoo in a few weeks and starting work on my sleeve next summer.
Personally, not that interested in gauges. If I were to get any it'd be 5g's since I prefer the smaller kind.
I love tattoos though. I plan on all of mine holding some meaning instead of being purely for design. I've been working on concepts for my sleeve for around a year or two now and it's coming together nicely. I just have to get it professionally drawn up and drop the cash on it.

Thanks for the opinion, But unlike others I don't have tattoos to excape from anything and if people judge me for having them then owell. My mother is super Christian and she has no problem with me having them, She told me "Your body is your temple, Do with it how you please".

I got my first tat done at a shop and they didn't make my mom sign anything haha

Now my cousin does all my work, he has 10+ years of experience so his work is fairly nice and I get them done for next to nothing

I see you're a very family oriented man like myself. That seems like a very nice piece though
