Michael said:Apologies, was to in to the moment for sourcing, will use for future reference. I have realized that you are speaking of unfulfilled prophecies. Explain to me factors which lead to them being fulfilled. Pascals wager is a valid & invalid argument.
I previously said "Since these were prophecies of the bible, people congregated in attempt to fulfill them. If these prophecies weren't known, the fulfillment wouldn't have been a priority, hence the prophecy wouldn't have been fulfilled. "
No, Pascal's Wager is ridiculously invalid. It's extensively fallacious and holds no validity.
How does one implement something into the bible? When it comes to the authorship of the Bible, of course men were involved. Christians would point this out first. If Paul wrote letters to early churches that are includen in the Scriptures, David wrote many of the psalms. Moses wrote the Pentateuch, or the Torah. 40 different people were involved.
They could have simply authored prophecies into the bible to boost its legitimacy perception.
I posted the prophecies stated above for the sole purpose of showing you that prophecies have been fulfilled. The fulfilment could take 1, 2, 3 thousand years but it will be fulfilled. I told you before about the ones that still need to take place. I want you to watch out for them because it will be in the near future.
Blatantly. However, I simply stated how my thesis correlated with the prophecies perfectly. They were broad, indirect and boundward. They will probably happen eventually, because they're so broad and boundward. If the prophecy was something distinctly significant, then the case of Christianity could be considered, however, the prophecies made in the bible, again, essentially all fit under the categorization of broad, indirect or boundward. The prophecies are insignificant.
I want to move off of prophecies and tell you this. Our Earth, our size is perfect, the right distance to the sun, if we were just a tad bit smaller life wouldn't be able exist. Our moon is the perfect distance, why is this? Did the big bang create Earth to be in the only position in which it can sustain life?
We fortunately live within the Goldie Lox zone, which is the exemplary habitat for life, however, the argument of fine tuning is flawed. Our galaxy -- the Milky Way galaxy -- is in the midst of a straight collision with the Andromeda galaxy. How is that fine tuned? The ability that we are able to sustain life isn't very significant when in comparison of the mathematical probability for life somewhere else.
The big bang had no pre-determination of its outcome. The Earth came to be without any conscious intervention.
