I'm going into computer engineering/programming, I'm in grade 11 right now :\.

Awesome, when I've finished college I'm going into University for a Masters degree in Physics, what is Grade 11 in relation to the UK education system? I'm not too familiar with any other countries.

When you finish secondary school and return for 2 years, junior would be the first return year.
Also, I want to get a degree in Computer Software Engineering (programming, essentially) and be a certified engineer to work for the government.

Awesome, I'm in my first year of College at the moment, a year left after this then 3-4 years at University, 7 if I wanted to get a PHD. How long will your course for Computer Software Engineering be? That'd be pretty cool to work for the government.

Well, computer engineering is a 4 year course if I'm not mistaken but I'm going for the 7 year doctorate.
