They don't fit in, they are complete black and the theme is gray, so no they do not fit in.

Also, they are ugly.

I guess they are, but they were first made on Rule-12. that's where them 'ranks' started.
I will try something different.

There are gradients and drop shadows used, but they don't fit imo.
They should have been a solid/slight gradient onto a black userbar with crisper text.
