I am about done as well, honestly fk used to be the shit, some people who changed their was chill and shit and I welcomed them back, but isn't it obvious that some people get hacked and shot at real fucking convenient tomes, a week after being on beats "team viewer" session and scamming some one else? I just think this is dumb. So your saying when someone gets scammed, we shouldnt post about it so that others can get scammed by the same person. Makes complete sense.

You should change this to just wanting to update the rules of scamming

So you are pretty much telling me and everyone else, I can go scam everyone person on FK offsite. And not a damn thing will be done? That reflects poorly on FK and will make less people want to come here, I can contributed quite a bit to the site and I actually am planning on leaving just because of ignorance like "off site" "on site" the Scammers Bay has been blowing up the past few months and not a damn thing has been done because of reputation and off site. I believe this is an issue that needs to be fixed.

You can disagree, close my thread, delete my posts, or whatever you want. My views will always be the same and I will continue to post them.

Yeah, you can, but your reputation as a member and legitimate guy online will quickly crumble. You'll most likely get rep-fucked, and your odds of getting doxed and swatted will increase significantly.

I never closed or deleted anything of yours, I don't even have the jurisdiction to in this section. I'm not the antagonist here, silly, so don't portray me as the bad guy.

See, that makes FK bad as a whole. Even you, a staff member, just told me that I can scam as many people as I want.

Doxing and swatting are pointless and actually pretty kiddish. If someone wants to do it bad enough I will gladly give them my address.
The swat team is no longer sent, maybe 2-3 uniformed officers that politely knock on your door and see if there is a problem.
When staff and admin on a site allow scamming then that is the real problem.

Hes not giving you permission to scam, hes just saying if you wanted to, you easily could.

Ok well he was simply stating that we do not want to see this forum turn into smurof kcah is all man... And no I am not discussing a banned site, simply typing letters that make no words... Best not delete my shit, cause you delete one of my post I'll delete every post / thread I've ever posted here :) ilu

No, you won't.

This suggestion is asinine. You are suggesting we get rid of the Scammers Bay? The Scammers Bay is effective without off-site deal disputes and getting rid of that forum would be preposterous.

There are a few reasons why I personally think the off-site directive was implemented. Every user is aware of the risks of dealing off-site. They are choosing to deal off-site, which they should proceed to do at their own risk. Don't forget about ForumKorner's private messaging system, I am sure you are very familiar with it. Users have the option to deal via the PM system or deal through another means of messaging such as instant messaging. If you're aware of the risks and you neglect to deal through the PM system and get scammed, why should we tend to your deal dispute?

The other reason would be regarding impersonation. It is a lot more difficult to regulate impersonation cases off-site. Yes, it can be done, but how accurate would we be at determining it? What if a user is really being impersonated and the impersonator scams another user and the user being impersonated is banned? That would be a technicality on our part because we cannot justify for certain that the user banned wasn't being impersonated. It would be a conundrum.

I must express my confusion towards this ridiculous suggestion with a GIF:

The offsite onsite is so ridiculous. I am driven to the point of no return in my mind just thinking of it.

The suggestion is actually one of the best, if I just wanted to alert the community I got scammed I would put it in the marketplace. When I want it dealt with I will file a scam report, that doesn't mean I want to have it closed simply because it was offsite.

Like I said in my other posts, if you care to read them before jumping to all these conclusions, to have proof that it is their aim/skype. So you have someone sending you their aim/skype or it is on their profile. If you don't want offsite deals to happen then take off the contact page or make it prohibited. If someone comes forward with enough proof of an offsite scam and the alleged scammer sent or has the SM in their signature, profile, or through a PM, it should be enough proof to result in action being taken.

I do however appreciate your response and views, but not your immaturity. The whole thing was not a suggestion to get rid of it, obviously, but to fix what it stands for and how it is dealt with. Anyone that actually took the time to read and understand what I have been writing could see that.

Okay I am going to make this pretty simple, and short and sweet.

The scammers bay isn't going anywhere, and is something that we will have permanently, I will close the site before removing the section. Scammers get banned whether they are the most reputable person, or someone without even a post.

Secondly, IF Grace/Swear's account scammed someone while it was "hacked". Grace/Swear is fully responsible, and will be required to pay back the user that was scammed, or he will be banned permanently.

The hacker scammed someone but he refund the money he scammed, so there's no trouble.
I agree with @Philly, it should stay..

Of course you're able to scam, anyone is able to. You act like this is surprising. However, you're actions will have adverse consequences. And as Poop said.

Off-site scamming has nothing to deal with the site. Hence, out of our jurisdiction and totally irrelevant to this site. Dealing off-site is like dealing with criminals. There really is no jurisdiction or authority to dictate what happens if something goes wrong. Simply deal on-site to avoid the predicament.

Why would you post a scam report on this site when the scam has essentially or absolutely nothing to do with the site? That's a foolish move.

That dictates they're from this site. However, the scam is totally irrelevant to the site. What happens off-site is irrelevant to the site, hence catering to irrelevance is erroneous. i.e This is precisely why it would be faulty if American authority(ForumKorner's forum team) decided to jail someone in the USA(ForumKorner, as in banning) for crimes(Scamming) they did in China(Off-site).

We'll you did say "The Scammers Bay is just worthless" "I believe it should just be gotten rid of completely, 90% of the time it doesn't matter," "Either start giving everyone the same penalty, onsite or offsite, known or not, or just get rid of it completely" firsthand. The fault of his mistake lies on you, not him. Don't say you want to purge the forum in a serious context if you don't mean it.
