The tag market is focused amoungst a limited number of people. Soon, this shit is gonna get old. I stick to HF for a good reason, that being, some sellers have some sense in what they price their tags at. Legi0n made a solid point in that the only kids who buy tags are the ones who buy/sell/trade daily with the same god damn people or scrawny skid fucks who obtain money from their parents after a recent holiday or celebration. None of their money is saved up, all of it is spent on one measily tag, which will end up being banned a month after purchase.

I'm a HF l33t as well, but there is a metric shittonne more scams on HF than on FK. How people get their funds is none of your business, unless it's fraudulent. The tag market is focussed amongst those who have money, something clearly you don't or you wouldn't be bitching about prices.

Look back a few years ago and notice the quantity of bids that people put on tags.

Sure, you might get one or two bids on a tag and sell it for your asking price, but before there were actually bidding wars with numbers of people going after a tag for a reasonable price.

For the record, I'm gaining ZERO benefit from this and I wouldnt benefit if prices dropped either because Im keeping what I have.

Going to what you said about calculating a equilibrium price. Your prices are not even near equilibrium, invest that hefty load of money into a calculator that works.

I understand supply and demand, i also made a point of it in the OP. I did created this thread with positive responses in mind from the community. I have no problem with you or anyone else on here.

I'm not sure where you got your info that I'd care if I lost my tags. I've got cash, I honestly don't mind too much if I lose some of it. Ask anybody, I've had $300+ tags jacked from me without a reaction on my part. Others can't say the same. Also, your calculator won't be able to find an equilibrium, it can't handle those kind of mathematical questions. An equilibrium is where demand meets supply. In the case of where there is only one item, such as each individual gamertag, the equilibrium is the highest price offered by one person.

This isnt just you, its a community. Therefor, not just one item. All the recycled gamertags on the market are overpriced, the equilibrium therefor is not a max price tag.
