What's your record for a 3km time trial? (1.86 miles) I suppose I'm about to find out.

Never timed it so wouldn't know.

Regardless, I'd say you should run it in less than 16 minutes.

Joshua said:Well, it's over. I am absolutely f*cked. We did, 3 x 400m sprints + the 3km time trial.
I managed to pull 11:17 for the time trial and with the sprints we did 90 seconds: 90 seconds recovery. I managed to do each set of 400m within 50-65 seconds.

3 sets of 400s would do alot better than 3km.
Out training last week was..
5 200m, walk 50m, 15 second rest
3 300m, walk 50m, 15 second rest.
3 400m, rest 40 seconds.
2 600m, rest 60 seconds.
followed by about 45 mins of skills.
Keep in mind we are seniors though, but this was like our second pre season training when most of us are unfit as fuck, and they said it will be easy and that we will ease into it for the first few weeks...
So I'm not looking forward to whats gonna happen in a few weeks lol

Damn, that's intense. My concern was that I'd be up against those that have been training for this over the past 2 years, considering they've played for this team last year and have developed more than I have. Although I came first in the sprints and about 10th with the time trial, so I was satisfied.
Yeah, we also did approximately an hour of ball skills, even that was rough given we did it after the time trial. 1 training session down, 10 to go...until the cuts are over.

Got a 1km time trial. (0.62 miles) Aiming for 3:10 on the first and 3:10-3:15 on the second if we're required to do it again.
