Watch a live exorcism, then tell me what you think. You can always see one with your own eyes, go to the church & ask a priest. Tell me what you think, go right now and search for live exorcisms. Let's see how many of you think this is fake.

To be honest I don't understand why you would want make people change their believes, I've believed in science since day one and always will nothing is going to change that

I'm not attempting to do so. I'm stating my opinions and who ever wants to listen and take it in can feel free, I want to help others get to know about religion without jumping to conclusions that they've heard/seen elsewhere.

I might just youtube one tonight thanks for the idea :) but the exorcism if I do feel like it's real, which religion will it correspond to? If I'm unclear just let me know

Exorcisms are mostly handled by Catholics, but the one my dad went to was done by a Pentecostal church.

I feel that its never too late to change your beliefs. Yes, you may believe in science due to some statements. But what if science is wrong and you fucked up? Lol Its never a bad thing to just try and find out the real truth.

It's our beliefs and we should be entitled to believe what we want to.

Yeah if were entitled to believe what we want, then why is there a new thread trying to turn people into atheists everyday.

I agree with 187, we already believe in what we believe for a reason. You can't convert someone religion just because you think yours is right.

This does not prove to me the existence of a God, and I do not know why it would.

Give me a video of an exorcism you believe is real and I'll debunk it.

Are you an idiot? You think we should just go to a church and ask a priest to let us see one with our own eyes? That is completely outlandish. A priest will not just preform an exorcism for you if if they could pull a demonic spirit out of their ass; on top of that, all exorcisms must be approved with the express permission of a bishop. Quit living in fantasy land and deal with reality.

For the record I don't in god, the devil, ghosts, or spirits.

As if watching someone have a seizure and foam from the mouth would be enough to convert anyone to any religion. You know, there are medical foundings and scientific explanations for things like this, right? It is no longer speculation, its diagnosis. Get real.

Heres a tip: Take the rest of the insane things from your religion and analyze them. I think you'll find that they'll convince you its all nonsense, rather than further your belief as "exorcisms" have.

science and god can and do co-exist. saying that dont would be ignorant. even the church accepts this as fact.

I of course have nothing against any religion but these are my views on it all.

I can only see religions as people's ways of dealing with the pain in their own lives that they can't seem to control themselves. There was always a religion before Christianity/Judaism/Buddhism and all the rest. So to me none of them can truly be correct and based upon adamant proof that there is a god. The one question that has always got to me about most religions nowadays is, if there is a god and he did create everything what being or force created him?

Religions and peoples belief has always puzzled me but intrigued me as well. I take an interested in it all because it's just amazing how much faith people put into something that they truly know nothing about.

To answer your question: "If there is a god and he did create everything what being or force created him?", he was there since the beginning, there is no time with God, there is no ending, God was and has always been there. I guess we have to wait and see hey :)

Like I said I like to see the argument from everyone's view but I just could never bring myself to believe any one thing based on religion, none of it makes sense.

All religions to me were based upon greed and desperate choices. But I'd never try to sway or change someone else's opinion on the matter.

Yeah, I completely understand where you are coming from mate. I do believe there is a higher power, and that higher power is God. There are also so many religions out there and it's hard sticking to one when there are others but we're all going to die soon & find out the truth. :)
