Uneducated Voters

Just because it happens doesn't mean correlation.
I think there is no trend between education and political party. According to this study, the less educated tend to drift to strong democratic views.

That site has a banner of a religious event. I wouldn't trust a single word that is posted on that website.
 
They are all uneducated, votes do not matter if nobody in the country voted, we'd still have a president. no matter what president we vote for we won't get what we really need even if it isn't what we want. Government doesn't matter, Politics.. doesn't matter. War, Protest, Law... none of it matters. If we had an educated majority, We would not have a monetary system, we would not have any deaths by starvation or thirst(besides accidental which would also be lowered tremendously) There would be a lowered thrive for crime such as theft and murder. The reason we still have these things is The same reason we have ever been in a war with other countries, Because the people who actually run our country (not Government nor "The People") Want us to be in war, and want us to be making money that has no value, they want us to think we have a say in what goes on. To be honest if we don't have an all out war in the next two decades, I'll be surprised and I will also be working diligently on a place to hide because time will only make things worse. In the meantime I am going to try to move back to Russia and see if I can reunite with some of my good intelligent friends. as I think everyone should do, because when the world goes down you will want to be on the knowledgeable side unless you want to die so a man can make a few dollars that is.

Your thread title is "Uneducated Voters" and you posted a video of an obviously uneducated Obama supporter. I posted a link to statistics of educated/uneducated voters from both parties. My post was completely on topic and relevant to your thread.
 


The video I found is just an example of uneducated voters. I say in the original post that they are on both sides. To be relevant you could of posted a video found by you of uneducated Romney voters. Instead you created a post trying to explain that Democrats are more educated. I never said any party was less educated than the other.

Democratic governments are a lot better in my opinion. I'm not heavy in USA politics but currently te liberals in BC getting there ass kicked an the NDP is tearing them apart

I am anti-ignorance. I don't care about political parties, that isn't how you should vote. Parties mean nothing, views do. Being anti-religion is just as bad as a crazy religious person being against people who aren't religious.

And as for being anti-gun, that doesn't make sense. The only people who follow laws are law abiding citizens, not criminals. You think a criminal who is going to kill people cares that there is a law against being able to have guns? Where do you think a person with a gun and the intent to kill is going to go: A school where there is no one else with a gun or a shooting range.

Anyhow, anything can be used as a weapon. If you are going to respond, I want a response with valid reasons why there should be anti-gun laws.
 

If the only way to get access to a gun was through the black market(Smuggled in, not legally imported) no one would be able to have a gun through the legal circles. If no one had a gun, there would be no gun related crimes. As for there being other weapons out there, yes, people can own knives, crossbows, bows, etc but none of these weapons have the range or speed of a gun. No one can fire a crossbow @ 800 rounds per minute. If someone is attacking you with a knife and you can run faster, there is nothing they can do. If you are getting shot at with a gun, you're screwed. There is absolutely nothing you can do.

Lets say that some crazy guys starts shooting in a dark movie theater at random people. That in the first place is a horrible thing. Now lets add a second gun to the mix of a completely law abiding citizen. This persons first instinct will to pull out his gun and start shooting in the direction of the original gun shots. This causes more mass confusion and possibly more injuries/deaths as there are more bullets flying through the air.

I can write more if you want but I would like to play some DayZ.
 

I don't think you realize how easily criminals can obtain guns. Adam, that is ignorance. And to talk about running from a guy with a knife, most situations aren't going to involve that? You aren't going to see a guy with a knife coming at you from 100 feet away. He will be near you already maybe on the other side of the counter purchasing something from the store you are working at. He could then easily reach you, jump the counter, etc. You need to realize this is the real world. You need to learn how things actually work. Things can look just lovely on paper and can sound so nice when coming out of a person's educated mouth. But then when actions occur in the real world, the outcome isn't as first thought.
 

Okay, lets replace a knife with the gun in the shooting at the movie theater. A man has 1 knife. He has to physically walk up to a person and stab them. He stabs one person and the start screaming bloody murder. Someone sees him attacking the person with the knife and tackles and restrains him from further movement. He has injured and possibly killed one person instead of 50.
 

Alright, and now let's make that more realistic. This guy wanted to make a statement and kill multiple people. So instead of a knife, he obtained a gun illegally. And yeah, back to where we were before. Also, many times in a situation like you said people don't act heroic. Just the cold hard truth of the matter.

Edit: The thing is, most gun related crimes that happen involve illegally obtained guns. If a law was passed to ban guns, this would still happen. Nothing would change other than the fact law abiding citizens couldn't own a gun. Again, this is the real world. You can't put ideas out there that would only work if everyone was a law abiding citizen.
 

Going back to the movie theater shooting, he legally obtained an assault rifle, a shotgun, pistols, and enough ammo to kill 10x more people.

Virginia Tech shooting:
He legally obtained a pistol and enough ammo to kill 32 people and himself.
 

And you don't think he would of been able to get those guns if there want an anti-gun law? Okay, lol. Guess what? Killing is again the law, look what they did. Logic.
