Point of life- What you find that needs to be accomplished in life.
Meaning of life- Why you think it needs to be accomplished.

Would you consider this to be correct? I'm a bit confused about what you mean by "Meaning"

The point of life to a certain specie is the survival of it.
The point of life to all species is the survival of them all. We all play our part in a bigger cycle.

So the meaning of life must be to do your very best and contribute to make a better world. For instance by knowledge as someone mentioned, we want to improve and save lives. Or by politics improve and save lives. Revolution, economy, teaching etc.

It's not about thinking about yourself, gaining knowledge for own purposes but for humanity, the world, everything. Hence Individualism feels unnatural. However this would be done out of love and caring for others. So some say the meaning of life is love.

This would not be a valid example either.
I said that the meaning has to apply to our species as a whole.

There are thousands/millions of people who only think of themselves.
Most philosophers promoted theories that explained individuals, and some of them even promoted the idea that the natural state of a human is isolation.

I'd say there isn't any one "general" answer to this question, one that encompasses everyone with a single answer. Everyone has some reason why they continue living and continue to struggle through life, I'd say it's up to everyone of them to find it themselves, so in general, isn't the meaning of life basically to find you meaning to life?

No, you confuse the meaning with the point.

I've updated the OP to more explain the difference.

Well then, honestly, there isn't much of a POINT to it other then furthering the advancement of your species

No, you confuse the meaning with the point.

I see you mentioning to go for the point, not the meaning. But none the less, I will recede, I must admit my lack of forte in this field

Question
What is the meaning of life?

Please note that I am not asking you what the point of life is.

Everyone has some reason why they continue living and continue to struggle through life[...]

Everything that you aspire to do. Goals, in a way.

I think you should reassess your last post.

Au contraire, I believe we are collectivist by nature. Beside the fact that we have throughout history lived together by collectivism we are, like most simians, social animals. I do believe this applies to our specie as a whole. I don't think there are many people living their lives for themselves solely, more or less everyone think of others and those who don't are a small minority. Whether this be thinking of the world as a whole, or just the human race, their nation or simply their friends and family. Exceptions always exist.

I think that would be true of man's happiest state, not mankind's natural state.
Community is removable, but isolation will always exist under the stuff you pile onto it.
