Untrimmed Capes

I know this may seem like a stupid question, but how do you get untrimmed skillcapes? Do you get an untrimmed one when you reach a skill level of 99 then when you get another 99 in a different skill, your first cape becomes trimmed and your new 99 cape is untrimmed? I'm so confused.

When you get your first 99, the skillcape is untrimmed.

However, when you get your second 99, your first skillcape is automatically trimmed, along with all other skillcapes you get from then on.

Before you could drop your untrimmed cape before getting another 99 and pick it up after and it would remain untrimmed.

But they changed it now it's untrimmed on the floor, soon as you pick it up it trim's.

Wish you could have the choice to have it trimmed or not. I've always liked the untrimmed strength cape.

Yeah an untrimmed HP skillcape is beast and an untrimmed slayer cape is cool because its so hard not to get another 99.

If you only have one 99 skill then that cape will not be trimmed

I always though untrimmed capes are better so they should let you choose.
