Do you think any typical idiot could change power supply + graphics card?

500W should be fine for a GTX 560, and yes, it's piss easy to change.

Damn well if you two could recommend me the best power supply/GFX card to get with that budget, let me know.

The processor is fine.
Also, the GTX660 is coming out in 1 or 2 weeks apparently. Just the heads up.

Comes out on 16th. It should be around 7950 and 7870. Goes for $300.

Also why on earth are you nubs suggesting GTX560? Go with 7850, GTX660 Ti, GTX660 (September), 6870, 6850, GTX570, 6950. Has the worst price/performance ratio. I actually own one myself.

Would a default 500W power supply be able to run that card?

Also don't cheap out on power supply. Power supply needs to be high quality. I suggest some few brands. Seasonic, Corsair, Antec, OCZ, Silverstone. I probably forgotten a few. but those are mainly the high quality power supplies. I would also get 450w-550w. You're system won't draw that much power.

Yes, does it have two PCI-E cables or two molex cables?

This is the sexiest video card you can get in your budget, it's 100% better than your current one, probably run any game on high settings 70+ fps at all times.

EDIT: It says you only have PCI Express, I'm a noob with CPU-Z, and I don't know if it would say you had PCI Express 2.0, or if just saying "PCI Express" is the same thing.

Check your motherboard for a slot that has one short insert spot, and a long one.

Please don't suggest things when you lack knowledge. GTX560 won't play all games at highest setting on 1080p. Also why on earth are you even suggesting such an old card. 7850 performs better and can match GTX580 if you overclock it.

Nvidia GTX 560 with 1GB Dedicated memory.

Price: $269.

I fail to see your logic in this. Just because it's got 1GB of VRAM dose not mean it's faster.

Erm IronHide told me that I would need to get a motherboard because apparently mine doesn't support PCI 2.0 or something, and that somehow is relevant to getting a video card, can someone explain :L

Ironhide has no fucking idea what he's talking about. He's a complete idiot and giving false information. Pretty much all sandy bridge Chipset supports 2.0. Just to let OP know. PCI-E 3.0 is backward compatible to PCI-E 2.0

GTX 560 is far from having the worst price:performance ratio.

It is compare to 6870. Also don't think it's worth getting 560. Get 7850 or 660 Ti when it comes out. 7850 is a much powerful card than 560. Performs very well when you overclock it to 1200Mhz.

They're fairly on par. I don't see how 560 is 'terrible' compared to the 6870, especially when it outperforms it by 100% on Skyrim, going by that chart.

Does it have two PCI cables.. Is there anyway to check without busting open my PC? I'm sure if you google all the information I provided in the first post you will find out =o

Just check opening your case. you might as well you are upgrading your graphic card aren't you? I don't see why not.

Yes well, I don't even know what PCI cables are let alone where they are.

Well now would be a good time to know your computer :) find charts online of what everything is. But usually it's common sense. Just make sure to take the power plug out before messing with anything.

I suppose, I'll do this tomorrow morning since I would need to smoothly slide out my pc from under my desk and it's 6:30 am atm :L
