OP do you have a majority of native american blood? If not, your ancestors "invaded" the US as well. This whole thread is honestly kind of pointless, and every point you made can be debunked. Though your free to your own opinion.
- In the MAJORITY of high schools is it NOT required to learn another language, there is options if you work your classes to not take any and graduate. I for example took extra business classes in exchange of language. In middle school I did have one year of basic "foreign language" class but it literally taught almost nothing. In one year they covered about 4-5 different languages in that class, it basically just went over basic greetings (hello, goodbye, etc.) and how to count to 10. Next.
- Sure they should get a job, pay taxes, and not commit crime. But what about all the others in Jail? They should of done the same thing, but failed too.
- Really? you honestly think the people here in America are the ones you have to worry about taking your job? What about all the MASSIVE companies that are completely moving operations overseas for a cheaper workforce, which by the way are mostly ran by white males. So who is really taking your job, the greedy corporate guy or the other people here in america? What really has happened is due to a lot of big companies going overseas, there is a lot less jobs available here in america which introduced a lot of new unemployed people to the job market. That mixed with an influx of immigration (both illegally and legally) put a huge pool of people looking for very few jobs. In general the people who were already here and working wanted to start out making better money due to their experience while the immigrants are more willing to take whatever they can find just to stay here and survive.
P.S More personal note to OP on this subject.... I'm assuming you're probably a young white male, who is unemployed and lives with a guardian of some sort.. You probably haven't worked for much during your life and are now being pushed to get a job and are having a hard time finding one. Keep in mind the other people who are going for that same shit job 10 years ago was just other teenage kids, now you have a lot of older immigrants going for the same job. They will work cheaper then you, and harder too. They won't call out to go smoke weed with their buddies or go party, or because its snowing or too windy or too cold. They are here in this country with nobody to support them, it is work or die for most of them. You probably put the applications in and never think about it again, they will sit there and call day after day. You are applying for "just another shit job" and treating it as such. They are applying like it is the best career opportunity they have ever had.
- You have a point, sorta. Things truthfully aren't the same as a US citizen if we were to go to mexico, or really anywhere else in the world as an immigrant. That in itself if what makes the USA so "great" it's a melting pot. There is already so many different backgrounds and cultures mixed into one big fucked up 'Murica that almost anyone, from almost anywhere, can come here and find other people from the same background, speaking the same native tongue, and be successful.
