What do you think happens when you die?

Death. The inevitable.

I want to know what each and every one of you believe. I won't argue it. Just give your reason and provide an explanation with as much fact that you can.

I'll start with a little theory of mine:

Before you were born. Before your heart pumped blood throughout your body. Before your lungs inhaled oxygen and exhaled carbon dioxide. Before your brain functioned.

Your body didn't physically exist. You with me?

What do you remember from that "time." Blackness? Do you remember developing in your mothers womb? No, you remember nothing because you were not alive.

I propose that it is no different when you die. Your heart isn't pumping, your lungs aren't inflating, and your brain isn't functioning. You are dead.

I know it seems empty, but out of every other theory I have heard it is the only one that makes any sense to me.

However, I would like to think that our existence and the phenomena we experience isn't all just coincidence. That's hard for me to swallow.

I agree with you there man, but there's not reason to live if you don't have something to believe in. I'll just say this, I hope there is a heaven. Cause the thought of just rotting in a hole doesn't sound fun. I think there something, I don't believe it's just a coincidence that everything on earth is perfect for us to be alive, distance from the sun etc. I also don't believ that everything in our bodies were placed perfectly to survive by coincidence. Just my thoughts, I'm not an expert or hardly do any research.

I believe you go to heaven . Living has no meaning if you don't believe in something.

I just feel as though the idea of a heaven is too good to be true. Too humanized to be true. If something like it existed it would be much more of a spiritual thing, I think. I feel like Purgatory would be more likely to exist.

Guess we'll all find out some day.

I am completely 100% not sure what happens, no one knows. But I'm assuming the following options:
-You just are forgotten and it's all dark for eternity.
-You go to heaven.
-Reincarnation

I was raised as a Christian I use to go to church everyday when I was little, about the age of 9 I started to actually think for myself and understand the concept. I had my disbelief's and I still do I'm sure their is a god out there but who knows for sure?

I'm just going to live my life how I want too, make the fucking best out of every minute I have

Cause in the end I could care less where I go. I lived my life, I had my time to explore new things and have fun

Any explanation as to why you believe that? Beyond "its just in the Bible," what actually makes YOU think thats true.

Can you prove he is? Theres no evidence he was real and can do what people claim he can do lol. So unless you have proof he is real, hes not.
There's no proof he exist or he doesn't.

Young Zeus, when there is no proof of either side, probability comes into play as it is the next best thing.

You die.

Your body shuts down and you become a corpse.

I personally think any form of afterlife is a childish idea...

Childish, no. Children don't even have the ability to fathom death, let along speculate upon what happens after. Call it what you want but it isn't likely or unlikely. It's only possible.

@Apock that is a theory I will respect. Also, you probably wont see this but your avatar is fucking awesome <3 SOAD

@Serene, my guess is as good as yours. I dont think any of us are ever supposed to know. And maybe its better that way.

However, there are thousands of good reasons I could point out to you, or questions about "god" that you couldnt answer. It simply would be pointless, you believe in what you believe. To each his own.

If I could convey one thing to you, it would be not to label yourself, because your are then committed to meeting those standards, and that could interfere with you living the life you want to live. If you dont meet those standards (VERY few people do) then people like me can make a joke out of your religion. It just isnt good to label yourself overall. A word of advice, you dont have to take it. :)
