I believe this is a good idea, but I think that the people who have to pay an extra $5 though they don't have a choice isn't too good because they are basically being forced to pay.

No the people that where in the gold group have been upgraded to the onyx group for free. I wouldn't force someone to pay more. That's way messed up.
