What Gamertag did you claim?

Hey guy, I added a specific tag i am trying to claim on my account but it shows another tag. For example, if i add "Staple", it shows up and "Rapidbunny345". This was an example btw. If you search it up, it wont acutally show that. Anyways, do you guys have anyt idea why i does that?
 
Has anyone seen a 6 letter yet? Or will they skip

It shows Staple for me. They're not on 6 char yet

I know. I was just using that as an example. Its not the real gamertag i searched up for. But do you know why it does that?

No its not true. It let me at first, I signed in a,hour later to check it and the tag was what it was originally before I swapped don't waste your time cause it locks the account.

It's because that was the OG account, and Microsoft changed the username to that on it. It'll take up to 24-48 hours to update.
 
Just snagged my second 3 letter on an account that was made td. Has anyone gotten OGs off freshies because I'm only having luck with 3 letters...

Made a list of 30 tags to try but I had a couple that were top priority. My friend ended up grabbing my top tag after he already claimed a nice one. I didn't claim anything out of the 30 /:
 
Is it confirmed we can claim on freshies now? I was able to claim @jick earlier and lock it on my freshie. I thought maybe someone claimed and swapped. I'm confused on what it going on.
 
I just got 2 3 characters on a freshie and one that means something to me on my Main

Cause @Jick isn't a v1 or a reset. Its a random old tag that some one swapped.
 
am i the only who hasn't gotten a tag yet and wants to throw their computer across the room?
