What Gamertag did you claim?

How do you check a reset tag? I wanna know if i'm wasting my time on this shit
 
How do you know which gamertags are going to get reset? Please help.

there are SO many 3 letters available just copped 3 and a five letter OG :)

I thought that if it changed to a randomly generated gamertag that it was taken?

No when it changes to a random tag that means it was reset, meaning the tag is up for grabs. I saw it was available but didn't claim it cause I don't have an account for it lol.

Oh alright, but just because its on a random tag doesn't mean its available just that second? Cause i see a ton and have been trying to claim them but its not working.

Yes that can also be the case, some tags get reset but can't be claimed, sorta like limbo. But Estate was claimable

Hmm thats weird because its still on that account and didn't allow me to claim it.

What? Estate? It's probably still locked from my claim attempt or someone else got it and it hasn't updated yet.

Oh is that what causes them to go into limbo/get locked? They'll become available once they're off that persons claim?

Yeah if ur the first person to claim it you have like a 30 ish minute grace period to go through with the change
 
Well i got buttfucked again, i missed out on all the 2, 3,4,5 letters, managed to claim Voices, I tried getting the gt Landon (my first name) for about 2 hours, i watched twitch for like 10 minutes just to find out it got reset in tht 10 minute period so yeah, im officially voting for donald trump
 
I still cant get a tag i have a list of them and half go to reset names so its not taken and i try to change it but it says taken? any one else with the problem?
 
Gonna kill myself, I go take a shower for legit 10 min and come back and the tag i was watching got reset and someone took it FML
