I use Fedora currently, fluxbox if I feel I want simplicity. I got KDE on here too, if I want the Windows look.

Interesting. Most people I talk to used Ubuntu first, I personally did as well. My first experience with Linux was:

Google Search: Linux installer

Return: Wubi

Click wubi, install.

Bam Ubuntu.

I was a noob up until a few weeks ago, I understand Linux now (I think), the basics at least.

Wubi will eventually destroy the ntfs slice its on, don't rely on it.

I used fedora first because i needed a live usb installer, and it has a program to make one.

Fedora has a live usb installer?

What's the name of it, I could use it .

Wubi deleted my Windows sound drivers -_-, so I eventually reformatted to Ubuntu, but my Acer that it happened on, the charger 'detached from the motherboard' and we sent it back to get fixed, they hardly did anything.

I'm only a Linux user now, loving it so far :)
