I'm now starting to believe that you skim read posts, and don't absorb their intent and meaning. I've never tried to persuade people to change their faith, and nor has Cann!bal. We've simply presented facts in whatever posts we've made in this section, and have asked you to DEBATE with us. If anything, his thread about why he doesn't believe in god is challenging YOU to PERSUADE HIM to change HIS beliefs. This rule is warranted in my opinion, there are a bunch of pointless posts that aren't helping discussions on each and every thread in here.

THIS is the worst thread? Here is one of yours:

Despite it being in the spamming and trolling section, I think that thread is less useful than mine. Also, this is a DEBATE sub-forum, if you don't understand how to debate, please leave. At least you've attempted to make a valid point in your post, even if you've got about it all wrong.

Haha I remember that shit, im laughing at it right now LOL

RE: New Rule for this Section

I know how to debate just fine, honestly I like debating that's why I always take the unpopular side if I decide I want to debate no matter what I think personally.

But I'm done here for the moment I might pop back in later to see what's popping.

It's all just a game to me debating on here at least

I do not feel this rule is entirely necessary. Some users ask for others' opinions on some debates (e.g. gay marriage). Debating is opinionated to an extent; however, opinions are meaningless in nearly all debates if not backed by some justifiable proof or reasoning. You could simply implement the following within your debate thread: No personal opinions or religious viewings unless plausible.

That could help limit discrete opinionated posts. Opinions are often weak and meaningless so ignore them if users decide not to comply. Good luck, Raptor.

I'm in favor of your suggestion, but I do not believe it should necessarily be implemented as a "rule."

No rule needs to be made. I think its clear that it would be too specific to some. And then people who the rule doesnt apply to would be shoving it down the throats of people who the rule does apply too. Its unnecessary and too personal.

Just let these people with no proof of anything claim the origin of everything, and laugh at them, and let them be stupid and arrogant. To try to convince people who arent capable of simple logic, that their beliefs are wrong or at the least extremely unlikely, that is a waste.
