Which programming langauge is more popular, JAVA or .NET?

Most of programmers insist that JAVA is the best programming language. Once one becomes perfect in this field, any other programming language will seem to be easier. But .NET is used by most of programmers. It has lots of healthy features than that of JAVA.

Java isn't the best programming language at all, though between .NET and Java it is better. If you become perfect in any programming language, then others will come easier - regardless of the complexity of the language first learnt. .NET is used more often because it's easier to use, and faster to build something in.

No it isn't, many languages can perform faster, and are easier to learn than Java.

C# is .net, not Java? However, .NET (typically VB.net) is learnt more in schools because it's an easier gateway into coding/programming whilst Java is a hard language and takes a long time to build anything worth building with it.

yeah, java is widely used now., actually im not good both in java and .net.. but i have some basic knowledge on them.

Well guys, according to me as well, Java is a very popular programming language. It is really awasome and very easy to code and implement.
We can program java and use it on any platform.
