In my opinion, it's .NET. From what I've read on the Internet, most of articles say over 90% of the users on the Internet have .NET Framework installed, and only 50-60% Java.

Java for me ever since i first went to college i notice how popular Java is. It's now only popular but it's a user friendly program that's why so many people like it.

What i personally think is both JAVA and .Net is popular. JAVA is for the network apps and all other network purposes and .NET is for integrating visual scheme to the program you develop.
