Who mature faster - men or women?

I always heard that women mature faster than men. I really don't believe with this because I believe that maturity is depending on the person's experience and on the kinds of problem, situation or responsibility that he/she is handling.

It varies because you can't really judge an entire gender.


The whole thing about women being more mature is just feminist propaganda from the 50s.

It depends on how you defines maturity.If you based it on physical appearance I guess women matures faster than men, because to me women have more responsibilities.Some are petty chores but many and deals with lots of thinking which is a factor in aging.Maturity in judgment I guess it's the same for both men and women.

That is true, girls mature faster than boys do, for the simple reason that they are more sincere than boys and do things better. Well there may be different reasons for that, but in our country the basic reason is that boys are better protected and loved by parents so they become care less but girls try to be on-up try harder.

Well i can say that,women is matured first than men or sometimes it depends on their experience in life.i saw some poor people they are matured in an early age maybe because they know how hard to live with-out everything.

Wow I'd like to see what people think by sex. Meaning what the males have to say and what the females have to say. Anyway, people say that females mature faster and it's extremely hard to argue that fact. I feel like when kids hit puberty it has a completely different effect on boys than girls. The fact that young men are running around as horny as can be tends to make them less mature. But i will say that this doesn't change the fact that women mature faster. By the way I am a guy.

For me maturity progress cannot be measured upon the gender. It depends upon the individual how faster he or she wants to become a mature one.

Women normally matures faster than men, just look at teens. In highschool alone, the physical changes in the girls are far more apparent like bust getting big, curves starts to show while the boys still look like boys except for the acne and the voice. Men also tend to marry younger women which means that women are able to catch up with the maturity of the men faster than the other way around.

Yes,its true that women mature faster than men,like for their debut to celebrate women debut at 18 years but men celebrate their debut at age of 21 so the maturity of them are not totally the same.

We often hear that women mature faster than men.I don't want to agree and just say women really mature faster than men simply because I'm a woman.I know men go through a lot when they assume responsibility,when they need to work hard to keep the family in good shape.I want to be fair and this is what I really feel,I think a person matures faster depending on the situation or responsibility he or she is handling.Talk about on the safe side...

Well it depends on the kind of maturity you are referring. If you are referring about emotional or mental maturity. You may be right, it depends on experience and upbringing.

But physically women do mature faster. Women enters the stage of puberty faster. So they become an adult faster, boys goes on puberty 3 years later in life when they start growing taller and changing voice.
