But what happens when the country is disabled?

A disabled country would lead to depression which would lead to starvation, no homes, etc. Then from the fallout and radiation flying through the air giving many many people radiation sickness throughout the whole world.

You obviously don't understand what a couple nukes can do to the world.

A disabled country would lead to more than depression, especially if it's a country like the US. Less troops for the military, less money to fight foreign enemies, less support from the people, and a crash of the global economy. Just a few nukes could destroy everything that you've ever known.
