Would you let your son/daughter smoke Marijuana?

This is not a funny/joke thread, this is serious, I always have had very big discussions/debates about this with my friends.



Question: Would you let your daughter or son smoke Marijuana when you have kids/when your older?

My opinion:

Hell yes I would let my son/daughter smoke weed, I would rather be supplying it instead of them going to sketchy ass people and most likely getting caught. I think it would be way safer, because hey if I could smoke with my mom and dad, I would be home 24/7. So if I was supplying it, then I know that they are safe doing it, instead of once again going with dumbass friends and doing dump shit and possibly get doing other drugs, which is completely retarded and if I found out my future kid would do that I would be seriously pissed off. Why not know your kid is safe then have him/her go out on the streets and go to people that could get them in a lot of trouble?

No you are probably saying, well what if you get caught supplying the weed, or they go off and tell everyone, well first off by the time my kids are old enough to smoke, which in my opinion would be 16/17, they should know by now not to go around snitching and being stupid about it, and then second off, by the they start smoking I will probably have a lot of good contacts, or marijuana might even be legal, you never know.

Weed is not legal I wouldn't let them and want them to be a pot head weed isn't cool

I wouldn't allow my child to smoke weed either, I wouldn't want them to, once there 21 they can do as they please.

I would, but it would be different for a son or daughter. I would let my son go about as he pleases smoking and wouldn't care, as for my daughter, not so much. Only thing that could go wrong is jail time, and juvenile jail isn't bad at all, the food is in fact better than what public schools get, so yeah.

@matigo I don't judge those who do smoke weed, I simply wouldn't want my children to do so, I've never smoked weed or even drank alcohol and I'm 23 almost. I've loved my life happily never had the need and I've never been enticed into using either and I'd like my children to do the same, once there 21 what they do is there choice I've given them my guidance the rest is their choice.

I definitely would not allow my kid to smoke weed. There are many reasons to my logic, one of them being that, believe it or not, marijuana is a gateway drug. Second, if you allow them to smoke weed marijuana then their friends are gonna want to smoke as well. Sooner or later, you're either gonna have a son doing dumb shit and/or experimenting with other drugs. Dont get me wrong, I've met some over achievers who smoke marijuana, but not everyone's body/mind are the same. So I won't risk having a deadbeat son living with me until he's 40.

No. But if he were to be 17 and I found out he was smoking I wouldn't care. I am not going to raise my child telling him its okay to experiment with weed when after a few years he'll change to some other drug.

A lot of stuff they say about kids smoking weed is not true, but I would wait until they were at least 18 so it doesn't affect them negatively while their brain is growing and stuff.
