I wouldn't glorify weed to my children, I'd just be straight up about it. Most things we're told about it is a lie honestly, but those rare chances are real, and people should be informed of the risks that it can have on you body. I wouldn't, my brother used to just smoke weed everyday and space out. He couldn't get a job because he failed a drug test, and he coughs a lot. I would want my kid to be productive and successful, not to be a pothead doing nothing.
I would not encourage my child to smoke Marijuana, but if I caught them, I would not punish them. I would prefer they know about the dangers of smoking Marijuana but they should be allowed to make their own decisions. I do not believe that Marijuana is bad for you, but I do not encourage it. I believe Marijuana is neutral and should be legalized, as crime rate would go down and prison population would greatly decrease as well.
If my child offered me a sick IG or Kik I would allow them to smoke marijuana. Joking, I wouldn't allow that at all, I would force them to concentrate on the future not chilling smoking 'good' all day. I strongly disagree with people saying they want there child to be happy so they would let them smoke it. Raise your child properly and force them do well, you as a parent have a responsibility to make sure that your child lives well and lives there dreams, unless you want them to just be the local guy working in McDonald's or not doing anything crazy with there life, which if you don't mind them just being your average local with no real ambition that is fine, but that is not what I would want for my kid, help them to become successful and established, then once they are at that stage they may have more time to chill and smoke this stuff, but by then they probably won't be interested in smoking it. (don't be offended.)

You are seeing this from your point of view as a 'son', meaning that is how you want your parents to treat you. Once you become a parent you will see everything differently. I have never smoked weed nor will. Hell, I become angry when my younger brother swears even though I do it all the time, it's just not cool. Before you call others autistic etc, become a parent and look how differently you would've seen it, I doubt you will ever enjoy your son or daughter smoking weed, especially in front of you. As you said, you are becoming a parent in 7-8 months and then you will realize all the wrong facts you've written on here as being a non-parent. You will have a bigger responsibility and care for your child, trust me. I may be wrong it all depends on how 'you' are, but you should never be a hundred percent certain. I hope you and your up-coming child will have a decent life, good luck!

If I knew that my son/daughter were smoking the marijuana, I wouldn't care, but I would start giving them drug tests to make sure they aren't doing anything else. The only drugs I would allow are LSD, shrooms, or marijuana. If my kid wants to drink or do psychs, they will have to stay at home with their friends or whatever. But, if I ever caught them doing anything else, I would beat the shit out of them.
