Xbox One worth it?

Thinking on buying an Xbox One finally, but I don't know if it's worth it. Part of me wants one for all the new games but I don't feel like it's quite at 360's popularity and games are still really expensive. 

What do XB1 owners say?

That's the thing, I'm seriously out of touch with games. The only multiplayer I've done recently is cage match on cod4 so I wanted to get some responses from people with next gen consoles. 

I'm also sure games are still being produced for the old as well as new gen consoles. But I didn't know it was backwards compatible. Fully or just a few games?

If you like Call of duty you have to buy the one or the ps4 because its horrible on last gen~

XB1 has a big list of backwards compatible games, look it up.

XB1 is getting better now with games like R6 Siege and Rocket League out now and The Division out soon. H1Z1 comes out for XB1 next year too. Plenty to look forward to! Make sure you get whichever platform you have the most friends on. I dont have PS4 because i only know 2 IRL friends with one.

Well I'm a huge fan of Assassins Creed and I understand there are a bunch released I've yet to play since Black Flag. Never been into future kind of stuff like Halo and new CoDs. You know you've just convinced me, going for one now.

Black Flag onwards is on XB1 i believe. Also check backwards compatible list for previous AC games
