Grr... you want to attempt Cannon Rock but not Cliffs of Dover?

I have a reason for that. I've been wanting to learn Canon Rock for 2 years now. Basically my goal is to know that song by the end of the year. I'm willing to dedicate months to learning that song because it's what I've wanted to do for a long time.

I don't want to spend months learning Cliffs of Dover just for this little "contest". I may make this a biweekly or monthly thing. And if I have to learn songs like Cliffs of Dover it wouldn't be monthly, maybe twice a year. I'm not so good that I can learn songs like that in a month, sorry.

Meh, I don't like the song, not my style. It has a cool guitar solo, that's about it.

If you're thinking about posting a Slash song. Don't make it Sweet Child o' Mine, the second (third?) solo would take me too long to learn.

I like Classic Rock a lot. I won't give specific examples though.

Cam G, Comfortably Numb is probably my favorite song of all time. If I did a cover I'd probably only do the 2 solos, considering that's basically the only parts with guitar in it.

The second solo will definitely be a challenge.

Yeah, I love that song also, like I PM'd you, saw Roger Waters do it live, was really amazing. To do the complete song, if you have a bass you could always do that too, it's simple enough I've seen the tab. That or you could mix up the other parts and switch them in as your guitar part, but that could get complicated.

Assangha, that is me playing. Originally, I had the video over the guitar because I thought if people saw it they would go blind. But I later found out the effects were only temporary. So instead I put the video over my face to prevent people from trying to kill me. You see, they are so jelly of my skills that they will try to eat my soul and capture my pure awesomeness.

So I will not do a cover of my own song, sorry.

That song isn't as hard as it looks, I mean yes of course it's still really advanced and hard, but once you got the techniques down it's significantly easy.

You could say that about any song in the world. But I see what you mean. Some techniques are just incredibly difficult. Examples are shown in this cover. It would take years to get those techniques down.
