yes you only get the one chance to change it on xbox.com or windows 10. It's xbox one only from then on, as you need to have a 1yr tenure and paid for gold longer than 1yr.

Well I'm all good on that front. I have a 2 year tenure and I'm on a anniversal Gold thing.

I totally agree, lets say your name is "Jack" then you could have "J1" so yeah i think thats its a high possibility.

Go onto your Xbox profile on the website and then click change gamertag, if you have a PayPal account or a card added to the account then it should change straight away.

Most two character gamertags have a space version that is on the 360, so at least two letters will still be kinda rare aside from the frew V1s without a spaced version.
