I don't think abortions should be illegal for simple the fact that some women get raped and something as unpredictable as childbirth is completely out of their reach. They shouldn't be punished for having done nothing wrong. However, special measures should be taken for women that deliberately aborted their child/children.

I think it should be illegal. Ridiculous. If you are stupid enough to have a baby, then you should have the baby. If you get raped, then have the baby and put it in a foster home. I think its so dumb to have to ruin a possibility of a life.

I'm for it, but only in the first trimester, otherwise allow the baby to be born and put up for adoption. Most likely, the mother will feel sorrow after seeing the baby's face and will want to keep it. I see alot of talk about adoption. Idk if any of you have been in adoption. My 18 year old cousin was in adoption and he said it was hell. Its not like its fun, your there with alot of other kids and when parents come and look at the kids its like their shopping and then nobody picks you. My cousin felt like noone wanted him. Adoption isnt fun.

And what if there was a war going on in the country, you want your baby to be born in those conditions and to have to live through that?

I am for abortion. If a parent doesnt want to bring her child into this world she should have a choice. not be made to have the baby

I split between both for and against for reasons that because it's their problem that they went and had sex without protection and therefore became pregnant and it was their choice.
I'm trying not to sound bad here but with the tests possible to see if the baby's health is good or bad, e.g have some sort of disability and have a sad and miserable life then may may should have to choice if they want to abort or not, Imagine living 60 years+ with serious handicap.

But at the same time its not right for one human to take the life of another without any sort of punishment and abortion is no different to this.
For the people who go out and have unprotected sex and become pregnant alot of them think about abortion, but what about adoption?

Almost all abortion take place in the first 3 months when the fetus is attached by the umbilical cord and the placenta due to this it is dependant to the mothers health because it can't exist outside of the mothers womb.

If a teenager became pregnant and become mothers then they wont have such a good future as others do during their time in life, their more likely to leave school to look after their child making them stop education stops them from getting a good job to pay for things later in life.

I think that it all depends on what situation you/they are in.

I think it should be legal but you should only be allowed to have 1. What if your parents couldn't support a baby and had to put you up for adoption? I think I'd probably hate my parents for doing that to me. You've got to facor in all the cicrumstances.
