I haven't made many mistakes, things were going good until the niche dried up. Much like the niche on FK is OG tags (probably 90% of the threads nowadays)
No offence, but I don't need help from you. Where is your forum larger than FK if you have all the answers?

I don't see how your niche is dying, I see how your site is dying, but that's another thing.

I don't care about running a forum, I already run a succesful company. I don't have the time.

You make presumptions on things you know nothing about. My site was based around a niche since 2009 (Habbo) that is now dying out. I can name at least 50 people who have made over $20,000 EACH from it, and probably 10 who have made $100,000+ from it. It was VERY profitable. I've personally made over $60k since 2012.
You can't just make assumptions about shit you don't know anything about. It's easy to say "you made this mistake" "all you need is this".

Anyhow, I'm not going off topic anymore so lets just agree to disagree.

Habbo is dying yes, I used to use it a lot, but they closed down the danish hotel like a year ago.

But then you gotta find a new niche, a new market. Where did all the Habbo people go? Where are they now? Is there something new, there's growing? Habbo is practically dead compared to what it was before.

If you failed at doing CS:GO, then I am confused.
There's not forum with a focus around CS:GO trading, and CS:GO in generel. Wouldn't be hard to get out there either, I guess.

However, drop me a PM when you feel like it. If I don't answer within 24 hours, I'm either dead, or my parents is visiting me. - Same shit.

If you wanna make yourself a unique and large community, you wanna keep letting people have goals.
On other forums, it can be an achivement just to get into a group, or get an award. It's not like etc. FK and your forum where you just hand out awards to everybody who buys them.

You've made all the classic mistakes, made by those who decides to run a forum without a well thought idea.

In order to keep members, you need to keep them motivated, and happy about the forum.
If everybody have a few awards, and everybody is in a usergroup, what is the actual point of being there? Is there any goals you can aim for?
Why make it to the official news team, when it's shit and there's nothing to write about?
Why apply for a group, when 500 others is already member of it without earning any benefits?

Why is your forum better compared to others? Ask yourself questions, and answer them.

If you decide to open up, and admit where you went wrong, then I will help you.
