Do you believe in 2012?

This is why I don't believe in God.
I just don't understand how people can actually believe one greater being controls and created everything.
It just doesn't make sense to me.

Yeah. Why would god let hundred of thousands of people starve to death in Africa. Why would god let World War 1 and 2 happen. Why would god allow us to continue to burn fossil fuels and ravage mother nature?

Yeah exactly. If he was going to make such disasters, diseases, and struggles in life, why even give us life in the first place?
I'm sure there are tons of people that would rather have not been born than to live their lives.

God can't control what we do with the world or what we do to each other. He gave us life and created things that keep natural selection going. The Strong will survive and the weak will not. Just how it is, if everything was all sunshine and rainbows the world wouldn't work that way. Their has to be both Chaos and Peace in the world to make it work. God wasn't the one who made the white men make African American Slaves, that's our own doing not his. He gave us life to see if we could handle such responsibility to control our actions. People need to stop blaming god for everything that's happening in the world and just look at each other and think for a moment.

Everyone has their own reasons for their own Actions whether that be Religious or not. Doing the right thing is doing the right thing, regardless the reasoning you come up with on why you did such.

But what about the people that are born into situations they can't get themselves out of? It's not their fault at all. A perfect example would be being born into a starving African family. Like really, what can you do?

I believe in science's natural selection more than God making this whole grand masterplan to weed out the weak, for lack of better words.

And if God creates everything, who else do you blame for a tsunami ruining an entire village? Why did they deserve to die? I just don't understand.

I will agree with Prodigy, I think this is total bullshit. Most science (by what my astronomy teacher has said. And I will agree with him on most parts, just a few that I will not. Very few..) can prove this to be bull shit. You can jsut use mapping charts to look at the alignment of the planets and then compare them to the supposed "alignment". Although, we all know that the solar flares are about to peak within that year, I hardly doubt that it will be so powerful that it will wipe out hummanity. Yea, it may wipe out communications wirelessly and what not, but that has happened before because of all the electromagnetic Enerygy that is released.

And on a second note, I swear the History/Discovery channel all contradict themselves whenever they show something. They will always have something to say the opposite.
