God can't control what we do with the world or what we do to each other. He gave us life and created things that keep natural selection going. The Strong will survive and the weak will not. Just how it is, if everything was all sunshine and rainbows the world wouldn't work that way. Their has to be both Chaos and Peace in the world to make it work. God wasn't the one who made the white men make African American Slaves, that's our own doing not his. He gave us life to see if we could handle such responsibility to control our actions. People need to stop blaming god for everything that's happening in the world and just look at each other and think for a moment.

Exactly. Is not a world where you do the right thing not because you will suffer divine punishment but because you want to. A better place?

Everyone has their own reasons for their own Actions whether that be Religious or not. Doing the right thing is doing the right thing, regardless the reasoning you come up with on why you did such.

But what about the people that are born into situations they can't get themselves out of? It's not their fault at all. A perfect example would be being born into a starving African family. Like really, what can you do?

I believe in science's natural selection more than God making this whole grand masterplan to weed out the weak, for lack of better words.

And if God creates everything, who else do you blame for a tsunami ruining an entire village? Why did they deserve to die? I just don't understand.

Its just a way for the government to get its way with us feeling like were all going to die lol.

Besides that, the G650 jet is to be released late 2012 anyways which should prove a point..

Also, I don't want to get into a huge debate. But if there is a god, why would he let millions of children starve to death in Africa? Surely newborn babies don't deserve to die. I think if there is a god, hes a real jerk.

I will agree with Prodigy, I think this is total bullshit. Most science (by what my astronomy teacher has said. And I will agree with him on most parts, just a few that I will not. Very few..) can prove this to be bull shit. You can jsut use mapping charts to look at the alignment of the planets and then compare them to the supposed "alignment". Although, we all know that the solar flares are about to peak within that year, I hardly doubt that it will be so powerful that it will wipe out hummanity. Yea, it may wipe out communications wirelessly and what not, but that has happened before because of all the electromagnetic Enerygy that is released.

And on a second note, I swear the History/Discovery channel all contradict themselves whenever they show something. They will always have something to say the opposite. (Sorry, just my belief that they should stick with one thing over than creating multiple points on one subject.) Does sound weird, I know, I appologize.

Galactic alignment is a myth, solar flares happen every so often so I'd believe in one of those.

The mayan's couldn't predict their own downfall, but people they could predict ours?

2012 happens to be the end of their calender right? Well go look at the nearest calender in your house or whatever, now when does that end? is that the end of the world too?

I'm not going to let it get to me, but if it happens it happens and I hope we are prepared but I don't think it will, also did you watch the move it's crazy thinking that people might kill themselves before it happens.
