I don't respect and would never stick up for anyone that is sexually attracted to children. That is just weird and sick. They do not deserve any attention at all even if they just sit around and think about molesting children.

Society deems it as wrong or wierd, just because it's society. Because it isn't the "norm". Now while I don't think older men/women should be having sex with children due to not having fully developed bodies and minds ready for a sexual experience, you can't help what you're attracted to. If you're a guy attracted to another man, which is psychological and you can't help it, then for the most part people accept you as normal besides the small minority of homophobes. Same with being lesbian. Being attracted to young children is a psychological issue and people shouldn't be judged for it, but rather the actions they take upon it.

how is it harmless to think about that? it desensitizes you to the thoughts which makes you think its alright. Which will make you want to act it out.

Yeah, it's completely acceptable, because there's nothing wrong with cross-dressing and transvestites that would harm others.

Sorry for double post, but I guess I should say that I believe this simply because I have nieces, nephews all pretty young, one of them just old enough to start developing, and if I saw an older male looking at them in that sense, I'd be pretty infuriated. It's happened before, a known 'pedophile' in my town who got out of jail after a 20 year sentence was eyeing down my nieces and nephews.

I believe it is completely wrong to even think of a child in that manner. Children are innocent and we should respect their innocence rather than just abusing their childhood. Children have no bad things in their heart and respect and love everyone equally and should also be respected.

I think it depends all on the age difference, If you're 40, and you think an 8 year old girl is "hot" or even "sexy", then I think it's a little disgusting...definitely frowned upon. But if you're 10, and you think an 8 year old is hot, That's natural. If you're 18, and you then an 8 year old is attractive, It's probably frowned upon, but it's not right in my opinion, because you can take advantage of them.

It varies. I think the point where it is wrong is in the pre-pubescent stage of a female's life. After a women has gone through puberty It is alright to be attracted to her because she is physically an adult.
