Is Being Sexually Attracted to Children Wrong?

I said their is nothing wrong with being attracted to a 5 year old, but if you want to do sexual things to them that is fucked up. They can barely think for themselves and they haven't even entered puberty yet.

One of the key aspects of sexual attraction is to want to do sexual thing with the one you're attracted to. There's nothing wrong with it until they act on their urges.

It's wrong because it just is common sense. Why is rape wrong? Cause its just not the right thing to do. Why are pedophiles weird? Cause they touch little kids cause that's the only people they can get.

You shouldn't generalize that all pedophiles rape and touch little kids, because a lot of them don't act on their temptations. Pedophiles that do rape and touch little kids get on the news and give the false impression that all of them do bad things to children. But there are civil pedophiles who don't act on their urges, and they probably take up the majority of all pedophiles.

It's wrong to have sexual urge's towards a child from the age's 1-13 being of 10 to 20 years older than them but once there around 16 it's fine really to me by then they can even be sexually attracted to you

Yes, the mere thought and idea of sexual attraction to children and babies is wrong.

Explain furthermore why it's wrong. No stating of opinions, only arguments of logic and evidence.

Pedophilia is being treated exactly like how homosexuality was being treated. It's not a mental disorder, it is a biological favorable trait that is no longer deemed culturally and politically correct, it's another form of sexual orientation. And even if I'm wrong on that, that doesn't mean we should judge them based on their disorder, but rather on their actions.

Say your not religious and sex is for pleasure only. Children and babies are not fully developed psychically (focusing on there genitals) until they are through with puberty. Use of these organs anytime before that puts the body at risk of harm (such as internal bleeding).

Legally it is also a crime to have sex with a minor.

Legally, physically, and religiously I see it as wrong based upon these facts.

Note: for the purpose of debate ill call a minor between the ages of 1-16.

It's illegal, because it is not safe for the child(, plus because of cultural bias). Which is why I do not condone pedophiles who act upon their temptations.
