This is a really interesting award, I believe this is what all awards should be about.
I also love the quotes you provided, they are extremely true especially about what Mark Twain have said.
For some reason something spiritual and the word ayahuasca comes to my mind after all the things you have said because this psychedelic drug actually helps people understanding themselves.
From hearing many experiences from many people it's a drug where you face your demon and you become to understand more about/things in life and the people you have met.
The experience is different for everyone but from what I heard some people liked the experience and some did not.
Anyways it's also a ying yang, there's always a light in the dark and there's always a dark in the light, without darkness you cannot see the light.
Stars cannot shine without darkness; the darkness reminds us of what and who we are and allows us to be the best that we are meant to be and shine as bright possible.

Now the mere title of this thread caught my full attention, I was thinking of making a group called 'darkness' seeming as the word is just so amazing, names like 'Reaper' and 'Darkness' are so more unique to me then names like 'Skill' or 'Legend', I always have skulls or grim reaper gamer pictures, but that is nothing to my thoughts, after watching batman 'the dark night rises' I was constantly quoting my favourite villain of all my movies, bane. "Ah you think darkness is your ally, you merely adopted the dark, I was born in it, molded by it, I didn't see the light by the time I was already a man by then it was nothing to me but BLINDING". That qoute is easily my favourite qoute from all movies and it is fitting for this thread to, I also like to talk about religion but people are to uneducated and small minded it annoys me, but I defiantly consider myself in the darkness, and with most people that tends to mean an 'emo' or something stupid but I don't cut and I'm not depressed, I am just interuged by the concept of darkness, I dedicated on when I was depressed 'Joy of Satan' (google it) not because I'm evil just because I like to go outside the box, there is probably loads I missed but I do tend to think of dark quotes and scenarios daily, and I think I'm the right guy for this award, and seeming as this interests you I would love to get to know you.

Especially Black Cats, they're adorably evil, if I was a movie villain I'd use one as my sidekick.
