I am thinking about allowing users to nominate themselves, or another user for this award in an effort to help choose the fifth recipient. I will type up an application, which you must fill out in accordance with nominating yourself or another user. I will have more information on this soon.

Nominees will ultimately be decided by myself, as well as the three other recipients. Any post containing a Bane quote will be voided.

This is really interesting. I have a dark side, as we all do. However, people really get creeped out if I show it. I suppress it until i'm alone or with someone that thinks similar in that state. Yes it's a state, for me, it's almost like being taken control of. Sounds cheesy to me at the moment to say evil, but I must say.. When i'm to that point, or in that mood, it's almost as if my true mind is only behind the curtains trying to break free.

What ignited your dark side?

Through even the darkest of times, what motivates you to prevail through the darkness and shine your light?

I took the time to reiterate the application. The one I previously made was too in-depth. We do not need to know everything about you, we need to know the highlights of what make you, who you are as an individual. Sure, the application is short and stout, but filling it correctly will be a task that many users will miserably fail at. The 'Darkness' award is an award that I would like label "prestigious," and very few users will ever even be considered to become a recipient.

We have all had tough times, some worse than others, but we all have one thing in common; We have prevailed and here we stand, united. I do not support those who cower behind the "good" things in life, and choose to hide the darkness that they once withheld, or still withhold. Share, with us, your dark side, and forever gain the respect from those who just cannot. We all must learn to move on and forget the past, but we must never forget what it is that made us who we are, good or bad.

Tell 'us' about yourself: I am a story writer. I like to write stories about post apocalyptic events such as natural disasters or the more gloomy yet righteous rapture and dooms day.

Answer these two general questions.

What ignited your dark side? When I was around 13 I heard about columbine and all of that stuff which drew me into reading about them and why they might have done it. I read about teens killing others due to jealousy, rage or just for the fun of it. It opened my eyes. I can relate to why they would do this. I am a social outcast with ADHD and depression. I have often had thoughts about killing myself but in reality I would rather inflict pain onto those who have made me suffer. I didn't deserve the way I was treated. I didn't do anything wrong. They deserve what is coming to them, they deserve all of it.

Through even the darkest of times, what motivates you to prevail through the darkness and shine your light? I would rarely prevail through the darkness. I like to think of it as my second home, hey! I am in the dark whilst I write this. If I ever have/will come out of the darkness it would be for my girlfriend. She motivates me to keep on pushing and get through what I am going through. Although, there has been times when we both contemplate the idea of embracing the darkness and allowing it to possess our minds.
Darkness will never leave me in a way. I wish it stays as I enjoy its company and some of the stories which can unfold once you endure it. Darkness is better than the light anyway...it's more interesting here.

I think he's looking for more similar personalities to hold his award, people who are in to similar stuff.. I'm assuming dark imagery and photography, I'm assuming a lot of people want this badge.

Instead he's getting edgy peoples dark quotes from google, but hey good luck everyone.

I am interested in getting rid of the Darkness award. I will not sell it, instead I am seeking an active member that will take it over and make it what I cannot.
