I hope you take the time to read this short paragraph I wrote. I would like to think I am a good writer, but that is for you to decide. I have experienced more hardship/darkness at my young age that most people do not experience in a lifetime. It is an everyday struggle, but it makes you who you are. Instead of me talking about life events, I put my thoughts through nature.

Quotes can't describe how one truly feels for the person tries to make the quote into what they think it actually means. Darkness is a word with no boundaries. I could walk on a narrow eerie street at night and not see darkness. I would just be seeing beautiful nature without color, without light. You come to realize that without darkness, everything you ever know is perfect. But how is perfect a treacherous thing? You wake up everyday knowing the exact same thing as the day before. The sky, blue as the waters of the Caribbean, flowers, blossomed, and family all with unequivocal comparison. Darkness brings these features brighter than we what we see. Some would argue that darkness would make these features darker, hence 'dark'ness. Yes, I can believe that to a certain extent, but darkness give you a perspective that you never had before. It opens your other eye. Darkness helps you see the world for how destructive it is. When YOU recognize this, one begins to see how each imperfection is a perfection in itself. You learn to grow in comparison to these two worlds and how they can be one. Sun cannot sustain when the rain comes, but the rain shows how great the sun really is.

Good news, the Darkness award is now even more difficult to obtain. I have decided to allow Darkness recipients to elect users they deem respectable and trustworthy. We will all vote with a simple 'agree' or 'disagree'.

I no longer have the sole discretion of granting the award. [font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]I am also limiting the award to a maximum of five users for the first six months (March-September)[/font][font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]. [/font][font=Tahoma, Verdana, Arial, sans-serif]@Color and @FeaR will negotiate the next recipient. Posting on this thread has absolutely no bearing on one's eligibility for the Darkness award. Polls will be private. One disagreement is a NO-GO and users will not be voted for twice.

Update: Award whores will not be considered for the Darkness award. I consider an "award whore" any user with 6+ rows of awards. If you are granted the Darkness award and choose to whore awards afterwards, there is a very strong likelihood that it will be revoked.

@Color and @FeaR are still negotiating the next recipient, so please quit private messaging me in regards to earning the award. Don't bother messaging them either.

Out of all the user owned awards I only like this one and the honey pot which is why I got all my awards removed except for two which people have not got back to me yet, very nice award Jason.

It has been a while since a recipient has been chosen. I am going to pressure @Color and @FeaR into choosing a fourth recipient.

I will contact them both today and see if it would be possible to vote in a new recipient by the end of the week. Good luck, all.

Edit: For the record, this is not an award giveaway. This thread was not originally posted here; it was moved here by a moderator who deemed it appropriate. For clarity purposes: You do not have to post within this thread to be chosen as a Darkness recipient.

Once humanity is paused I walk into the dark of the evening into the bedroom shadow. It takes me to another place with blood names dripped on walls with hands dragged down. I see the shadow figures calling my names they have something written on them but i cannot see since my vision is a blur. I walk towards them and I see it clearer now written across the dead bodys of the shadow figures are Fame, Money, Hapiness, Family.. all things that I want. I try coming closer to them and they back away... the more i got towards them the farther they go until I realize. My dreams will never come true no matter how hard I try. I start to cry and the floor begins to disappear. I plummet down to a dark fiery place, and I see him the allmighty Satan. "you belong here now..."
OMG i say as I wake up "it was just a dream..." I look up and staring at me is him, Satan. "life isnt no dream."

dude this was the darkest thing i could ever think of omg I hope i get this

Why are you always so angry? I feel your childhood was devestating so you present hostility in an effort to ease your pain. Hostility is only needed if you feel defeated. You are a weak-minded human that cannot scavenge enough thought in that pretty little brain of yours to realize that flaming over the internet is superfluous and utimately proves how dim-witted you are as an individual. What are you trying to prove and who are you trying to impress? I must admit, I am very impressed. I am impressed by your stupidity. I am impressed with your subtle attraction to me and how you will stop at nothing to cause affliction using words that a child could muster. I would be even more so impressed if you grew up and acted your age, rather than your shoe size. Your words are as weak as the voice you utilize to flaunt them. Are you getting enough blood to your brain to sit back and actually think about what leaves your mouth, or do you just settle for the lack of thought and absurdity? Don't embarrass yourself any further, you mutt.
