Thats not the drugs thats your personality. Marijuana has no addictive chemicals in it.

And do people smoke 2 packs worth of joints a day? No. the content is higher but is not smoked nearly as much as cigarettes. A heavy pot smoker may smoke 3-4 joints in a day, and a heavy cigarette smoker can smoke 2 packs in a day.

"Addiction is not a state of mind. Drugs like heroine you can not break with the simple state of mind. Weed though not addictive in a chemical way is a gate way drug and waste of money. Those under the influence commit crimes as well."

I clearly stated that earlier. It still is a gate way drug, and has no positive effect on your average user.

Your mind buddy. I've said it 4 times I'll say it again, in your head you can become addicted to anything.

Does gambling have a factor that you smoke and get addicted to? No. Are there gambling addicts in the world? Yes.

MINDPHUCK?! Or are you just not looking at it from all perspectives.

The Gate Way Drug is a theory. You can't tell me you can prove it wrong without doubt. I can't tell you thats a a sure without doubt. But how many kids do you know that start straight with heroine or cocaine.

It is only addictive to those with an addictive personality.


But hard drugs like heroin and crack actually have a PHYSICAL addiction not just in your head. Thats my point.

Oh okay, well I did say that it wasn't addictive in its chemicals but that people do start to build a psychological addiction.

And it would reduce the profits of alcohol companies. Did you know that Drug Free America commercials are sponsored by alcohol companies?

Also, I do marijuana from time to time and am in pretty much all AP classes with currently above a 4.0. I guess I'm not typical, but I personally can't see how it's a gateway drug, although for most people it seems to be one.

AFAIK you don't really get medically addicted to weed. It's more like caffeine rather than something like cocaine.

That honestly just isn't true, there isn't really another way to put it. Weed isn't like cocaine or heroine, you aren't strongly addicted to it at all. Like I said, it's similar to wanting caffeine. Just wanting it. Also, heroine and cocaine aren't insanely popular drugs either. Let's be honest -- have you heard of anyone wanting to legalize them? It's because they're extremely destructive. Meanwhile, marijuana is more comparable to alcohol than to cocaine or heroine, meaning it would be more likely to see people protesting alcohol's legality than cocaine's illegality.

Because weed is a weaker and less dangerous drug they'll start their. Eventually it will move up. And the majority of kids that do drugs are calling out for help or are just bad people.

I don't even think its comparable to alcohol, alcohol kills a lot of people through alcohol poisoning, liver failure, and other things like car accidents. Good points though.
