That's not the same as discussion of scammed items. A onshore host does not allow this. If FK is onshore. I don't Philly wants it anyway someone suggested it before and he said no so I don't think his opinion would change.

Both are illegal. You're buying and selling the property of the company that the username was registered on. You're splitting hairs.

Social engineering is defined as "The science of skillfully maneuvering human beings into taking action in some aspect of their lives".

That can be taken however they want. We could just ban the discussion of scamming items on it and I would be happier.

@Brave I said I did not want it, thats my opinion, I do not think I want it, I just don't want it.

You said a lot more than just that. Or did you forget?

Well then, we could just say it's for "educational" purposes ;)

It is for educational purposes ;) Who said it wasn't? ;)

I said I didn't want it because it would promote scamming, but remember its just my opinion, I also said Philly would most likely not add this.

You said way more than just that. Might want to reread what you wrote.

And If I know for a fact this won't pass because when we first created the site, it was a no.

and I hope it doesn't change

Two years a go this was huge, everybody was getting crazy amounts of products, nobody was getting billed. Now everybody is trying to do it and 3/4 of the companies don't put up with this bull shit.,

Well if @Philly has the time to read the entire thread and is reasonable enough to see things from the perspective me and others have provided, perhaps that "fact" will change.

No site has a social engineering section that is dedicated to the true definition of it. It has a bad reputation due to people, who believe it means "getting free shit".

I will quote this yet again. Social engineering is defined as "The science of skillfully maneuvering human beings into taking action in some aspect of their lives"

Now, imagine if you could influence anyone to do anything you wanted. With a section dedicated to that, with the right minds behind it, the power and knowledge we could all gain would be priceless.

Politicians, celebrities, world leaders, all of them use social engineering.

Who doesn't want that power? If you don't, you're a fool.

Clearly you haven't taken the time to read the entire thread, please do. It's rather informative, and perhaps it will change your biased opinion.

It's a forum, it isn't liable for the content posted by users on it. If his host allows the buying and selling of gamer tags, they would allow that.

You mean underpricing? Also, read the entire thread first, thanks.

That's not "all you're saying". You said a whole bunch of contradicting things prior to that post.

I've been here longer then you have. People will overprice SE'd goods. Stick around and you'll notice. until then dont act like you know everything.

I see a year of netflix going for like 10$ in the marketplace, people already sell SE'd goods here. Considering how much I pay for netflix, I wouldn't consider that "overpriced".

I certainly don't know everything, nor do I act like it.

Though with the way you're behaving and throwing accusations of such around, I believe you may of misinterpreted my words. Please re-read them, thank you.

So your saying stealing xbox's from Microsoft using false info is not committing a federal crime. Their is legal social engineering but the kind that would be used by members here is not.

For some reason, I don't think you did.

You must of missed where I said "Social engineering is defined as "The science of skillfully maneuvering human beings into taking action in some aspect of their lives".

That can be taken in a multitude of ways, you use social engineering from the time you first really begin to speak and form sentences.

It happens on the forum all the time, it's happening right now as I write this.

Please re read the thread...

I read the thread multiple times, and that explanation was not in the OP. Social engineering is still black-hat. That being said, Philly doesn't want black-hat activity on the site.
