I think he's pointing out that if we got to that with supermods/mods, it would turn out the same.

This is true.
If the person didn't work as a SuperMod they could always be demoted and the search continued on.

We don't neccicerly need super mods, we only need more mods.. 4 super mods 8 mods 2 staff is what we need

Look at the mod to normal member ratio.
More weight to the fact that we need a 1-2 more.

With that said, look at the mod:member ratio, for the users that are active.
Change in thought?

Yea, exactly...

Just because we have 4k+ members, doesn't mean they are all active.

Like @"Echoes" said, the mod:member ratio wouldn't be near as much as it would be with the active members instead of the total amount.

You don't realize the constant effort Mods, Super Mod's and Management put into the website everyday to make sure its clean. With the work force that The Elite has it's enough for the community. The current staff are experienced and know how to deal with mass reports and issues at once.

Believe me, they have it covered.

I'm from Finland, anytime I'm on there are 20+ people and no staff, I have like 4 threads with the title please close, and they haven't been closed or looked at for a week or so, I understand you are bussy, but with the site growing you will need more staff..

I thought it was common sense that you report your thread if you want it closed.
I don't think we are going to read entire threads to see if someone puts "Please close this".

Your expecting it to be closed immediately

You have to give it a little time for the moderators to react, it can't be like instantly.

Don't see how it would bother someone that much for a thread being up for an hour before it gets closed. Just be patient and it will be closed when the mods get back.

There Is no rush, just nice for things not to take 12 hours almost all staff are - 9 or +9 hours away from me... I'm like only fin on the forum
