Suggestion to stop multis

i have the same script HF uses that stops ppl from using vpn and proxies lol i could impliment this for this site also

@agøny thanks for the vouch man @philly yeah i could help with the multi issue i guess. i have a few ways to do this.
 
I used to look at the who's online list and check everyone's IP when I was staff. I banned hella people that way. Pages and pages of just bans by me. That system worked great for me. Long as staff does something along that line often multis ought to be pretty minimal.

Anyways, I think a system like this would be counter-productive to the site's progress. People are impatient and knowing you have to wait to use the site would make people go away.
 
I wouldn't mind seeing @triginc 's idea used. Although it may deter some users.
 
once someone is banned they are most likely ip banned... checking ips will do nothing
 
I currently have it set to admin activation, it should help out quite a bit as I will not be activating any users while I am not online to potentially be able to ban any multi.

This would be amazing, multi's IMO is giving us trusted members a bad reputation. That being said, there has been very trusted and even members like me that's been here for awhile that scammed sadly. I usually don't talk about anything serious unless it's an site issue. I'd prefer this site to improve on some things because HF is boring even though that's where I started off.
I'm sure Philly doing something about this just have to wait.

I know there's gonna be that one asshole commenting on my post. Read my shit carefully.
 
There will always be a way to beat the system, but this seems like a solid idea.

SMH ok I guess have to to explain the whole thing. Didn't see Phillis post at first until your 1st post on me then went back to read then I posted again saying I didn't know at first. Other words I read it before your last post
 
I'm guessing you took my first post as a challenge when I said "read my shit carefully" I said that because I posted something similar and this idiot thought I said you should trust me or other members like me (which I didn't). Had to put that so someone reads my post carefully since they only read part of it.
