What's wrong with homosexuality exactly in your opinion?

We're not just talking about gay marriage for men, we're also talking about gay marriage for women, too. And so far no one has made an argument towards lesbians on why they can't have marital rights, why? Because people are homophobic with only gay men. The homophobes who were against gay marriage for men were actually supporting lesbianism in this debate.

So what's wrong with lesbianism? Why should lesbians be denied marital rights?

That is what I'm saying. It's like down syndrome, dyslexia, anorexia or any other mental issue. I'm not "likening" them, like saying they're all screwed up and should be committed to mental hospitals, I'm saying it's a disordered attraction.

The lesbian have the right to marry any man they want. That's another issue - people construe marriage as that it's about "love". The family - and therefore marriage - is the basic cornerstone of society. Homosexuals cannot procreate, not even by some sort of miracle.

Lesbians don't want to marry men, they want to marry their same-sex partner. The number one reason people marry is because of love, I said this a while ago in the thread to you. Homosexuals can adopt, they can have their own family even though they're both not their child's biological parents. They can also get a sperm donor, and then one of them could be the biological parent.

Somewhat ironic that you say homosexuals couldn't possibly procreate not even by miracle, when Jesus was procreated by the virgin Mary without the need of her spouse Joseph.

Alright but saying a human should be locked up for not conforming to what we view as "normal" is like telling people they can't have their own preferences.

Not gonna argue that pedophilia isn't okay, but who are we to define what is natural? What gave you or me the right to say that their love is invalid, or a sign of mental illness? Couldn't homosexuals argue the same thing about heterosexuals?

I've said before that gay activity is not healthy or natural. Penises aren't meant to go into assholes. It's very harmful.

Putting them up in a mental institution qualifies as locking them up.

Before you argue that,

They're locked up because they're to be kept away from society to prevent any harm or anything malicious. Same thing as being jailed imo.

And besides that I know several (3-4) Teenagers raised by only male dads, and they are; Normal, competent, empathic and friendly kids.


Now you keep drawing this line (even though you said multiple times "not saying gays are pedos") between pedophiles and gays. The difference is being gay is a sexual orientation hurting no one, because both parts agree to have sex (unless rape, which happens to both straight and gays). But kids being fucked isn't right because of one, simple thing; they cannot give consent, they are too young to understand what is going.

Maybe Christians should all be locked up in a mental institution? Sexual Preference or Religious Preference...there is no difference. At least you guys are spouting out crazy theories that came from an Omniscient deity. If you actually took time to assess the situation. Paul, you do bring up good points. But you're almost treating it like people have a choice to be gay.

And honestly, anybody who thinks homosexuality is a choice, is uneducated. It's not a choice, just like you don't get to choose the colour of your hair at birth. It happens, and when it does, it is not something you can reverse or change.

So, by saying that it is wrong, you are implying they had a choice in the first place, and therefore you are uneducated on the topic. If you knew they had a choice, maybe you'd try putting yourself into their shoes and considering how it would feel if people told you that your life was wrong and that you shouldn't exist.

Anyone who thinks that of other people are truly the ones who shouldn't exist.

I've never said anything either way if they are born that way or not. I never said they shouldn't exist either. I have several friends who are gay and though I disagree with their choice to be actively gay, I value them like a human like anyone else.

People with ADD are "born that way" yet we try to treat them. Why can't we help gays who want to be straight (they do exist, I know some of those too) without being labelled homophobe? Don't say it's a permanent thing, many people have changed sexual orientation. And if we aren't allowed to chane sexual orientation, why can we change physical sex (as much of a joke as that is)
