It seems to be the same culprits in each thread that are starting it. Starts off with one user posting where his/her opinion isnt wanted (it happens everywhere and is almost impossible to stop. Even in RL), everyone flames him. Someone else will come into back him/her up. Then a war of the monkey shit throwing begins.

Things need to be re evaluated so that this forum can move forward.

How about for a nice democratic solution, @[The Elite] makes a poll for Carbon to be banned or stay unbanned? That way the members speak. No bias results. Just a simple poll. Because we all saw it, as much as it was denied, that Carbon was unbanned at the end of his original ban. Came back and acted like a massive twat then got banned again till September 2nd (I still remember the date on the bans page. Thanks to photographic memory). Then due to him being so loved by "higher up", he was unbanned. You can't get a more bias result than that. Let the people speak.

They are comparing this simple forum about a shitty java game to WW2 and the Nazi regime... something must be going a bit wrong? People are begging to have the chance to vote, the chance to sign a petition, the chance to do anything they can.
These members who are complaining haven't just joined RuneGear, nor have they just been lurking. They have been trying their hardest to push forward RuneGear over the months. Some have thousands of posts, they have hosted contests, they write articles, they bring activity to the marketplace, they run groups. They are the heart of RuneGear. You must listen to your heart.

Yes, I'll make a poll to get a member because he trolls. So, let's ban all other members who troll AND who have had their ban ended early, that's about 20 other people. The thing is, many of you don't understand that when you do something to one, you must do it to everyone or it's counted as abuse. Carbon's ban was unfair actually since it was a 2month ban for trolling which is not worthy, hence why he was unbanned after a week. This is a democracy, but voting against someone is not democratic, it's stupid and ludicrious.

I can compare your post to Rebecca Black's Friday video. All of a sudden, something must be wrong with your post.

I'm sick of everyone saying, "Listen to your members", since the fact is, everyone who posts that has never run/managed a forum. To begin with, you can't listen to everyone, especially 5k+ members. Furthermore, you need to be assertive, you can't satisfy every single one of their (unecessary sometimes) needs.

Not to be rude or hate the community, but when one member leaves, it's not a permanenet thing, another member comes back. Same with Rune Gear, if RG goes away, there's another forum for others to go to.
