Hey guys Crossfire here and The reason I am posting this thread is to see yalls opinion on these headsets! I currently own a pair of A40's and I love them!

I need you guys opinion for a school project because I have to tally these down! Now if you don't know what each headset is, below will be a few images containing the 3 types of headsets! I would really appreciate you guys' help!

Those are pictures of the headsets.

*Picture is not mine, I got it from google*

Astros are the best headset. Hands down.

I agree I love them, But I hate my mixamp. I think its fucked up. Lmao

I feel like turtle beach is putting a lot of effort and money into their new headsets so they might start becoming better. I had a pair of A40's and they were amazing, I could hear anyone from any angle and any elevation. I sold them and I regret it ever since .

I agree with everyone else. The quality if Astro's is outstanding. Everyone and everything came through with crystal clear quality and was told that the mic had pretty amazing quality output through my xbox. I think there's a reason that when a gamer hears "Astro's" they automatically think about the best gaming headset they could imagine I had a set of A40's as well, and I used them for 2 years before I sold my whole gaming rig, which was a huge mistake. I'm thinking about buying the Astro A50's because they just look AMAZING. If I do i'll come back and tell you guys how they are

I have a pair of Turtle Beach X12's right now, and they're alright. Like Creator said, Turtle Beach seems like they're genuinely trying to make their headsets better, and they're doing a good job. I say give them a couple more years and they'll be competing with Trittons, MAYBE Astro's if they try REALLY hard but for the sake of comparing them to the others, they have decent durability. I haven't pushed them to their limit but I have noticed something wrong with my right speaker ever since I took them off my head and let the two sides clap together on their own strength. I don't know if it's something easily fixed or if it's a bigger issue but I never had any kind of issue with my Astro's.

Now, I personally have never owned a Tritton headset, but I do have friends that have and they always say they're pretty good headsets. I can't honestly say how I feel about them because I've never had any to experience or test out, so I'm not very knowledgeable on theses I'm sorry

I hope this helps with your school project at least a little bit man. Good luck, you better get an A

Hands down, the Astros are the best as you see most professionals using them.

I've only used Turtle Beaches, so I have no clue what the best ones would be. All I know is, there's a lot of tape holding mine together.

Astros are more high end and better quality made for hard core gaming. Turtle beaches is for the casual gamer who likes to do good and they are good quality. Tritons are for the casual gamer who wants a headset that looks good but triton is terrible quality.

Wow, Thanks all of you guys, I really appreciate it and to see that this became an open discussion is amazing you guys helped me Thanks Forum Korner

Turtle beaches are good for Treble, I've been using my pair of X 31's forever and I love them. I've never used a pair of Astros because I couldn't get mine working so I just packed them up and threw them in the cupboard.

Trittons on the other hand are useless, full of bass and they're hard to use if you're sound whoring for footsteps, gameplay volume and other effects just get in the way of what you're really wanting to hear. Other than that they're a great headset. (Tritton AX Pros)

ive had turtle beaches my whole life so i mean i like them alot but i really want astros

I have Tritton AX720 Pro's, got the old pair for $75 off eBay, they didn't work, called Tritton, they mailed me a new set (The brand new pair)

I love them, but I've always wanted a pair of Astros.

The astros work decent for sound whoring, but it seems to hurt your ears after a few hours.

Good news to everyone! I PASSED THANKS EVERYONE

I have the Astro A40's and A50's and I love them both. I love the fact that I can hear things that most other gamers can hear. Also that I can sound whore the shit out of people.

Astros are the best because, compared to other headsets, I can hear more. The price of the Astros are worth it.

I would honestly go with Tritton or Astros. Turtle Beaches are cheaply made and no matter what model you get the plastic that extends to hold the band and the headphone together is going to snap open eventually. It's happened with every turtlebeach I owned so I got trittons
And congrats on passing

My astros suck, wish I would of got some trittons instead.

Yeah I see that Trittons are the best and most durable. Razer Chimaera's are also an option.

I have both the Astro A40's and A50's, and both of them are exceptional. I'd highly recommend these.
